I make photographs because it forces me observe more mindfully and experience more deeply. I see differently with a camera in my hand and my eyes wide open.
When I close my eyes, I imagine what I cannot see. The image that forms might combine multiple things I have seen augmented with software, or ways the camera can capture what my eyes cannot. The camera is just a tool, a part of the process to produce a creative outcome.
